Ben Cooper

Volunteer Coordinator

Ben has been part of Off The Ropes since 2018, after suffering a life-changing brain injury. He says the charity has helped his mental health more than any medication ever could. Ben first heard about Off The Ropes while in hospital for a year, where he met Warren, and his brother later brought him along to a session. From that point, he began seeing big improvements in both his mental and physical health.

After years of commitment, Ben became a volunteer in late 2025 and now supports the team as Volunteer Coordinator. Having experienced long periods of isolation, he understands how important purpose, connection and community truly are.

Ben is proud to give back and recommends Off The Ropes to anyone needing support, calling the charity “amazing” and genuinely life-changing.
